Bohemian Lounge styled shoot in collaboration with Petals, Ink. and Brazos Hall.

With the launch of our new website recently, we can finally share with you these photos of the styled shoot we did in collaboration with Petals, Ink. and Brazos Hall. Since it was intended for the homepage of our site, we wanted to showcase our rentals in a way that depicts just how unique our inventory + style can be. We chose to create multiple layers and dimensions for each setting, playing up the importance of details and texture throughout the lounge and table areas. Here are four of our tried-and-true methods to add texture to a space to create that coveted cozy, bohemian atmosphere.

  1. Use a muted color palette: This can be crucial when combining several different styles and textures. The last thing you want to do is overwhelm guests with a crazy color explosion. Having one or two bright, funky colored pieces can be a great focal point, but sticking primarily to neutrals is always a safe bet when decorating any type of space.Bohemian Industrial Lounge Furniture in a Neutral & Muted Color Palette
  2.  Vary the materials: This may sound like a no-brainer, but it is definitely the easiest way to make texture a major component in a room. The exposed brick of the venue was the perfect blank canvas for what we were going for with the lounge, and we embraced the industrial vibes with various styled woods and metals.

  3. Add height: We love creating dimension with unexpected items like our Royce back bar as a shelving unit behind the sofa sectional. Textile ladders are also perfect for displaying blankets and giving the eye a place to wander above the living space.

  4. Layer rugs: Natural seagrass jute rugs are a favorite of ours as a base for lounges, and we love how versatile they are. It’s so easy to add another rug over them without seeming out of place. We stuck with our neutral color palette (refer to tip #1) and used our wool Shakira rug that is a crowd favorite.
