Soon after moving to Austin in 2006 (I’m considered a native at this point, right?!) to attend UT's film school, I fell in love with the city’s creative community. As a professional storyteller, I’ve had the chance to rub elbows with some of the coolest writers, photographers, business owners, & creatives in the city. I also love a steady supply of Topo Chico, matinee shows at the Drafthouse, and sunset runs along Town Lake. This city provides me with endless inspiration for my role of designing our styled shoots, maintaining our social media accounts, and creating our digital media.

“Though I’ve lived in Texas all my life (I’m a San Antonio native), I’m a wanderer at heart with a deep love for the great outdoors. After graduating from TSU with a degree in environmental science, I spent six months hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Trekking over 2,600 miles between Mexico and Canada by foot was an incredible experience, and I cannot wait for my next travel adventure. So I’ve got my travel bag at the ready, but until then I’m more than happy to be a part of the team at Birch & Brass. ”

“As a native New Yorker, I moved to Austin in 2015, and I happily traded the hustle and bustle of the city for the active outdoors + live music scene of the capital city.
