Okay, close your eyes. Imagine the most perfect springtime weather: a cool breeze, fresh blooms, and white linens. Chances are good that whatever you just pictured doesn’t even come close to this styled wedding shoot we did this March at Hayes Hollow in the Texas Hill Country. This bright and fresh wedding tablescape was just featured over on B.Loved blog!
Inspired by the modern farmhouse design of the venue, Sweet Laurel Events and Smith House Weddings created a beautiful dinner table that featured whimsical floral designs from Reiley + Rose, romantic stationery from Lazywood Lane, and our own curated place settings. The architecture of the main hall at Hidden Falls follows the design principles of a modern farmhouse: white walls, large black framed windows, and clean lines throughout the space. We wanted to continue this farmhouse aesthetic when we were deciding on a table setting design for this shoot.
With simple elegance in mind, we stacked our white organic dinner and salad plates for dimension. To accessorize the all-white look, we set out our favorite rose gold flatware — and for a bit of sparkle, we thought our vintage patterned glass goblets would do the trick.
Our natural ceramic bud vases added the perfect touch of rustic beauty while continuing the table’s fresh and bright style.
And, while we don’t have any our pieces in this jaw-dropping ceremony backdrop, we just couldn’t leave it out from the blog post. If there was any doubt that spring might be our favorite (and busiest!) time of the year, this styled shoot is the perfect showcase for everything we love about the season!
