Upon first glance, this styled wedding shoot seems like something directly out of a European fairytale. We were humbled to be a part of this Kinfolk inspired shoot that was recently featured on Ruffled. Each and every detail was beautifully captured by our photographer friend, Julie Wilhite.
Natural tattered wood, copper accents, and simple modern glassware throughout the table setting provided warmth and comfort. Beth of 36th Street Events designed and styled everything to absolute perfection, while the organic romance of the florals were created by Remi & Gold. Various fruits and vegetables were accenting the charcuterie spread, providing a true farm-to-table dining experience. The stunning hand lettered calligraphy suite designed by Boarding School Collective carried over the earth tones found throughout the details of the foliage and natural textures.
The vivid reds, plums, and ivory colors within the floral arrangements accented the lush greenery of the venue, and we used these same colors as inspiration for our berry + jewel toned lounge area. We loved getting to mix elegant pieces with slightly bohemian elements into the furniture we chose, as we wanted to compliment the minimal, yet romantic, aesthetic of the shoot. The goal was to keep the details somewhat minimal, allowing the natural elements to speak for themselves.
Of course, no wedding would be complete without dessert – after all, European culture is centered around gatherings with a bountiful of food. Feathers and Frosting designed a simple tiered white cake, yet accented it with caramel drippings and a berry topping to tie together the entire shoot.
