What a wonderful surprise it was to see this styled wedding shoot we helped out with featured on Ruffled! Our dear friend, Emily of Vannagram & Co., styled this breathtakingly beautiful shoot based on the premise of “modern irony.” She explained this as taking on the meaning of all the different contrasting elements. From the different shades of light + dark in the color palette, to the traditional furniture pieces paired with the contemporary wedding ceremony seating, to the freshly renovated old mansion at Green Pastures smack dab in the middle of central Austin.
Creams and whites set the base tone, and was heavily accented with minty greens, denim and peacock blues, peach, mauve, and blush pinks. Gypsy Floral took it all to the next level with these insanely gorgeous stems in all different forms of bouquets, bud vases, and draperies. The dreamy color palette of the florals created a wonderful pop of color to our lounge groupings and ceremony site. It looked as dreamy in reality as it does on the film photographs taken by Sophie Epton Photography. Hoping this can serve as some inspiration for future brides-to-be!
