How do we begin the design process when staging a home? We decide what direction to go with the overall aesthetic, whether it's a more lived-in and Austin-cool vibe, modern new construction, or that transitional vibe somewhere in-between.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From there, we move to individual rooms. We select a base item that rill root the entire room, and then we continue onward from there. Sometimes it's a piece of art, a funky pair of chairs (our green velvet Zion chairs here are a crowd favorite!), or a sofa with major appeal.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We always leave accessories for last, as they're the pieces that truly bring together an entire space + make it feel cohesive. This could be a blanket draped over a chair for texture, woven baskets to complete a coffee table, or linen napkins to bring some warmth into a dining room.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One thing we always do? Overpack our pillows. They may be a small addition, but we love how much they can change an entire space in an instant.
