Austin does this thing in the springtime where it grows these really beautiful bluebonnets everywhere. OK, maybe this doesn’t only happen in Austin, but we like to make ourselves feel special. It makes driving down country highways and walking through the greenbelt dreamy, reminiscent of a Van Gogh painting. Those Texas wildflower fields were our inspiration for this tablescape, which we also used as an excuse to show off our newest dinnerware.
We paired our new stone dinner plates with our classic organic salad plates, along with an unexpected touch of pink with our mauve napkins. There’s something to be said for mixing neutrals, and we just adore how the stone adds a bit of depth when showcased alongside our white plates. We captured the essence of rustic country vibes with our custom-made farm table and reclaimed wood benches, draped in both greenery and indigo.
Simplicity and minimalism prevail in this shoot, and we let the natural textures and patterns of each separate item add to the detail and femininity of the space. Our beautiful macrame backdrop is a subtle — yet stunning — addition that doesn’t detract your eyes from the table; instead, it compliments the neutral colors of the plates, place cards, and flatware perfectly.
