Halloween black plates and gold and black silverware

How much do we love Halloween you ask? Does the fact that we were simultaneously eating candy, drinking pumpkin spice lattes, and watching Hocus Pocus as we were prepping this post answer your question? Thought so. It’s such a fun time to be silly with your friends and brings out the best (cheesy) scary movies on TV, a combination that leaves us with the only option of throwing a Halloween party to get everyone in the spooky spirit.

It’s the perfect occasion to bring out our fan favorite Cocoa plates — a shade of almost pitch black that gives one the impression of a foggy night with a full moon a la Sleepy Hollow. Coupled with our modern black and gold flatware, the place settings will provide the perfect contrast against the neutrality and texture of our cheesecloth table runners. Mix in some classic gold-rimmed wine goblets and some embellished Briard servingware like our Harper bowls and your party’s bound to be a scream!

We also love the spider web-like shape of our Landon candelabra that will be the perfect centerpiece for the candy table. Displaying the different treats in things that look like old witch’s cauldrons like our Rupert vessels is a wonderful way to rake in the authenticity points from party goers. To add the magic touch to your Halloween party, in lieu of florals just add some branches that show off their organic shape, and maybe some cinnamon sticks to spice the place up. Then all you’ve have to worry about is who wins the costume contest!
