Here at the Birch & Brass office, many of our team members are big fans of warm summer days. Indeed, Brittany’s version of a summery paradise is a secluded tropical beach on the other side of the globe. Meanwhile, Ashton grew up in Florida and isn’t afraid of high humidity. And the rest of us are Texas natives who are no stranger to the intense summer heat. But while we still might groan about mosquitoes and farmers-tan lines, some of our favorite things about the summer season include poolside cocktails + colorful confectionery. Luckily for us, this summery poolside photoshoot at the elegant Hotel Ella has everything we love about summer.

Kiersten of Lovely Day Events sought out to create a vibrant, Palm Springs-inspired scene by the sparkling pool. Between the lush, tropical florals from The Flower Girl, the adorable invitation suite + signage from The Inviting Pear, and the citrus-adorned desserts from Feathers & Frosting, we’d say she nailed it. So put on your sunglasses before scrolling on because these photos from Paige Vaughn Photo shine and shimmer in the summer heat.
