Austin is one of the most flourishing cities in the country right now, so it goes without saying that plenty of out-of-owners are planning their weddings here (and with good reason). So, we thought it’d be fun to compile a short list of our top 5 favorite Austin accommodations in town for your destination wedding guests, including one that’s just a bit outside of town for those who aren’t into the hustle and bustle of city life.
We’re all about making the big day as easy and fun as possible for all involved, but we also are huge on staying in accommodations that are as stylish as they are functional.

It’s no secret we have a love affair with this hotel. It’s everything we love all rolled into a nice mid-century modern ball of gorgeous eye-candy. Not only that, but the service is excellent and the facilities are top-notch. Just looking at that rooftop pool makes us so glad it’s summertime, what about you? Located on, you guessed it, South Congress – Austin’s notoriously hip shopping and dining area, the hotel has 71 rooms and 12 suites. The showers have Aesop hair and body products to pamper yourself with. Now, how classy is that?

Probably the most Austin-esque pool there ever was, this infamous pool is from none other than our friends over at Hotel Saint Cecilia. It legitimately resembles the backdrop for a slow-motion dance scene in a music video, right? Also boasting the creative atmosphere of South Congress, each of the unique 14 rooms on the property houses a record player with a selection of vinyls at the front desk. The decor is some of the best we’ve seen in our lives, and don’t even get us started on the beds. The second you sink into that mattress, we dare you to try getting back up. But, you should probably venture to the private hotel bar for a spicy margarita – we won’t judge you if you order it from room service for enjoyment in bed. Guilty as charged.

This quaint hotel is immediately surrounded by an outrageous amount of bars and restaurants, and it’s within walking distance of Rainey Street, the Austin Convention Center, and Lady Bird Lake. With only seven rooms available, you’ll want to inform guests book at their earliest convenience, but it’s sure to be a lodging experience they will fall in love with. Just look at that decor!

What’s more “Austin” than an Airstream? Trick question. When in Austin, you know… Call it an ode to our love of all things exceptionally vintage, because we love the way the minimal retro design of the interior creates a feeling of nostalgia and the sudden craving for cherry pie. A few miles from downtown on South 1st, the property sleeps two and is ideal for a couple who doesn’t mind being in close quarters.
