When the time came for us to re-design our showroom to celebrate the winter holiday season, we decided to mix things up… a lot! Most of you know that we love lounges that are eclectic and colorful, but we thought we’d challenge ourselves and create an all-neutral vignette for a holiday scene that is ultra dreamy and ethereal.
However, since we opted for a very tight color scheme (or lack thereof), we took the opportunity to play with a lot of different textures in order to keep things interesting.
Let’s first address the (white) elephant in the room: the jaw-dropping floral installation from Twyla of Remi + Gold. She turned up at our showroom one afternoon and used it as her personal floral workshop. Truth be told, she didn’t have a set vision for the final product. Nevertheless, we had complete trust in her exquisite taste. So, we put on some Beyoncé (her fave) and let her do her thing. Scroll on to get a peek behind-the-scenes!

White anthurium, lunaria, baby’s breath, and spanish moss come together to create a winter wonderland.

Twyla played up the texture of her florals to create something out of a fantasy.
For the furniture, we knew we had to include our new Isla sofa. Her pleated, dove gray velvet figure was the perfect anchor for Twyla’s floral artistry. We also brought in our Albrecht chairs for something a little classic; and the subtle touch of pale blue and gray in our Hollis rug completes the look.
Opposite our main lounge, we got crafty and created a soft, layered fabric installation made entirely of cheese cloth and a few pieces of rope! We set our Adrianna settee in a sunny corner atop one of our faux fur Topanga rugs. A perfect spot for a festive selfie, if you ask us!
